Iranian Doctor in the Board of International Pain Association

Dr. Alireza Rahimi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association, became a member of the Board of the International Association for the Study of Pain.

Dr. Rahimi attended the annual congress and exam of this association, on November 28 and 29 in Istanbul, Turkey, as a guest professor from Iran. More than 200 specialist doctors from 37 countries attended the event.

The international Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) is held every year in three cities: Orlando, USA, Budapest, Hungary, and Istanbul, Turkey. Any pain specialist from any country can take the exam and by passing both the theoretical and practical tests receive a FIPP certificate.

Currently, 14 Iranian doctors have achieved this scientific degree. Dr. Alireza Rahimi was chosen as an examiner and member of the board of this exam this year.
